GBP/USD: HOLDING ON TO THE GAINS..DESPITE OF A 'NO DEAL BREXIT' IN PROSPECT...!!!!

The pair is trading firmly above the 1.2150 region, in-spite of a No Deal Brexit on the horizon. Also, some reports coming out from UK states that the UK Prime Minister Borish Johnson could call for a general election just following the Brexit, in order to to gain the support of Leave voters. the EU has already turned down the British request for renegotiation but the UK politicians aren’t stepping back and keep a no-deal Brexit scenario live unless the bloc offers a new deal. Also the traders will be keeping an eye on On  the US-China trade tussle, which has re-emerged substantially to become a key issue off-late. Going ahead the latest UK GDP will be released by this coming Friday, but the preparations for Brexit have already had an impact on the economy. Economists expect a stagnation – 0% quarterly growth – and a slowdown in year on year growth from 1.8% to 1.4%. Mark Carney, has already echoed these expectations by saying that the economy has probably remained flat or marginally above or below. So in all the pair need to come over various issues in order to have a sustained uptrend which for now seems a difficult task to complete and will keep the movement in check.
